Preparing for Maternity Leave

In preparation for the birth of our first child in April, I will be off on Maternity Leave starting March 24th. I plan to be back to teach again in the fall of 2026.

I am pleased to welcome Phoebe Wong to take over lessons for me. Phoebe is a talented pianist and a very qualified piano and music theory teacher. She will be travelling from Rosetown to teach at ECS and the Catholic Church one or two days a week. She will finish lessons to the end of this year and be here for the 2025-2026 academic year as well.

I will be making the very most of these last few weeks with my students as we prepare for the Eston Music Festival in April and exams in June. I will miss watching everyone grow as musicians and accomplish things we are all truly proud of. Teaching music is a joy that I will be glad to get back to next year!
